Contact us to join in planning this
fun event and to
purchase tickets ($10 per plate; $5 for children and
unemployed).
We need volunteers to:
1) request food donations from supportive businesses
2) join set-up and clean-up teams
3) organize fun games for all ages to raise funds
4) join the program committee to plan readings from the
special student issue of Revolution newspaper about
BAsics from the Talks and Writings of Bob Avakian,
spoken word, and acoustic music.
We need your creativity, energy and ideas!
* Directions from Hollywood & Western Red Line station:
1) North on Western Ave. 3/10 mile until it turns right and becomes
Los Feliz Blvd.;
2) From Los Feliz, make the 1st left at Fern Dell into the park (you'll
see Griffith Park sign and little bear cub statue);
3) Drive straight
into the park about 3/10 of a mile; we'll be on the
right-hand side,
just past Red Oak Ave; look for our banners (cross
on bridge across dry creek bed).
4) Park along
Fern Dell or at large parking lot 1/5 mile north of
Red Oak Ave., on
left side of Fern Dell. Call bookstore number if
