We are enclosing here a request from The Bob Avakian Institute to contribute on this #GivingTuesday to its mission to project and promote the works and vision of Avakian throughout society. At this dangerous time in the world, with Trump's fascist America looming, this is needed more than ever.

I am writing you at an incredibly dangerous time for the future of humanity. In light of the serious threats toward a fascist America, there is an even greater need for the work of The Bob Avakian Institute to have impact and reach now. Make a contribution, this #GivingTuesday, to make this possible.

The new synthesis of communism, that Avakian has developed, provides the scientifically grounded understanding that a whole different, and far better, world is possible. Exactly when so much is at stake for humanity, we cannot afford to think small... we cannot afford to have our sights lowered or to have the terms set by the world as it is - with all the horrors that means for humanity.

As just one example, watch this video clip right now. Think of what a contrast this voice, vision and challenge is to what predominates today: "What if...?"

More than ever, people throughout society need to know about and engage Bob Avakian's vision and work. Avakian has developed an understanding of what it will take to get to a radically different world - the scientific method to approach this, a deep analysis of the problem in the system of capitalism-imperialism, the strategic approach to making an actual revolution, the concrete vision and framework for a radically different society to bring about real emancipation. As part of this, he provides an incredibly farsighted analysis of why we're in the situation we're in now, including the dynamics that have gone into the rise of a powerful fascist movement in the US, and what must and must not be done to forge a way out. Avakian has further developed, and fought for, a morality and resistance in line with what is required for human emancipation. And his work challenges people to live by and fight for all this today. This whole new synthesis of communism represents a revolution in human thought.

In the face of a dark and deadly program of white supremacy, xenophobia, patriarchy, outright repressive rule and expanded surveillance, war and torture... there is even greater urgency in Avakian's vision and work being known, engaged and debated in every corner of society.Your contribution - right now - can make this possible.

* Contribute for The New Communism to reach the campuses, inner cities and more... to reach all those who are agonizing about the state of the world but need as the subtitle of the book says, "the science, the strategy and the leadership for an actual revolution, and a radically new society on the road to real emancipation."

* Contribute towards the advertising and promotion of two pieces by BA: Bob Avakian on the Right-Wing Agenda - The Truth About Right-Wing Conspiracy... And Why Clinton and the Democrats Are No Answer; and The Fascists and the Destruction of the "Weimar Republic"...And What Will Replace It. These prescient pieces by BA shed a great deal of light on the current political juncture: it's roots, its dynamics, and what must be done in response. When so many are looking for answers in all the wrong places, these works provide clarity and depth that you will find nowhere else.

* Contribute for a speakers bureau to take this understanding throughout society and argue for it, with sharpness and substance. Invite us to your school, classroom, book club, church, professional association, or host a fundraising salon in your living room. Put this in front of groups of people who need to hear about and engage with the new synthesis of communism - and open up a great debate about Avakian's analysis of the source of the problem in this system and the need for an actual, all the way revolution. Contribute for travel funds and promotion.
