Latino Theater Company ‘Encuentro de las Américas’ We'll sit down with Artistic Director José Luis Valenzuelaand Programming Director Selene Santiago of the Latino Theater Company, to talk about Encuentro de las Américas. From Nov. 2 through Nov. 19., the Latino Theater Company will be joined by 13 companies from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Peru and Colombia for a three-week celebration of dynamic, contemporary Latinx and Latin American theater, at the downtown Los Angeles Theatre Center.  Sunsara Taylor: November 4th National Protest Movement to Demand: This Nightmare Must End: The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go! These Protests Are Under Attack by the Alt-Right, Lies, Threats of Violence, Denial of Permits November 4 is quickly approaching. All over the US, people are called on to step out, and stop a fascist regime. Sunsara Taylor, co-initiator and spokesperson for Refuse Fascism, joins us to talk about the need for people to stop and recognize the danger to human civilization itself posed by the fascist Trump/Pence regime, and to begin the actions that will be necessary to prevent unspeakable horrors. We'll also talk about the "Alt-Right," conservative, white supremacist, and outright fascist organizations that have threatened violence and issued death threats against the protests, endangering the safety of thousands of people.
