Last weekend she organized a protest including dozens of WW II camp survivors at the "South Texas Family Residential Center," a current concentration camp for Central Americans and other immigrants and refugees in Dilley, Texas. Furious and despairing about the actions of the current administration, the  survivors raised the slogans Stop Repeating History, and Never Again is NOW!  Andy Zee on the Mueller Report, the Accelerating Consolidation of Fascism, the Need for the People to Step up and Step out and Bring Forward a Better World  Andy Zee, spokesperson for Revolution Books, New York City, an advocate for the New Communism forged by Bob Avakian, and part of the Get Organized for an Actual Revolution Tour, will talk about the  new situation created by the end of the Mueller Investigation. The release of Attorney General William Barr’s four-page memorandum and the week that followed marks a significant juncture. The lingering question marks on the electoral legitimacy of the fascist Trump/Pence regime—which for some time have been wrongly hinged on the question of Russian interference and Trump’s knowledge or coordination with that interference—are now sapped of potency. The regime, which has been constrained up to now and has needed to burst out of those constraints, feels vindicated, triumphant and unleashed to potentially go “full animal” in advancing their fascist program, as Steve Bannon urged. Meanwhile, large swaths of progressive people now seem deflated without this savior atop the system.
