Latest Developments in the Trial of Two of the #Freeway9

When your government is carrying out crimes against humanity, should you do nothing or should you SOUND THE ALARM?

For two members of Refuse Fascism and the Revolution Club in Los Angeles on trial this week, the answer was the latter. For this, they are being illegitimately prosecuted. Everyone concerned about the danger of a fascist America needs to stand with them.

The trial ended Wednesday, and the jury began deliberating -- and soon announced that they were deadlocked on all counts. The judge ordered them to continue their deliberation. We'll hear the latest from Michelle Xai, a member of the Los Angeles Revolution Club.

JULY 4, 2019: IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT AMERICA

The National Revolution Tour and the Revolution Club recently issued a Call to Action:

On July 4 this year, we invite you not only to “conceive of a world without America,” but to fight and work for that world. On that day, this flag so soaked in the blood of “barbarity and hypocrisy” will burn in symbolic places around this country. This will be a bold statement of truth and a declaration that we have had enough; and a clarion call to revolution and the emancipation of ALL humanity.

Be part of this. Spread the word through social media. And do your own flag-burning on that day where you are. Another world IS possible—if we dare to fight for it.

We'll speak with notorious flagburner Joey Johnson, and Carl Dix, a representative of the Revolutionary Communist Party and a follower of and advocate for Bob Avakian, his leadership and his visionary new synthesis of communism, the New Communism.

"Blue Note Records: Beyond the Notes," with Director Sophie Huber

A new documentary film, BLUE NOTE RECORDS: BEYOND THE NOTES, explores the unique vision behind the iconic jazz record label. Through rare archive, current recording sessions and conversations with Blue Note artists, such as Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter and Robert Glasper, the film reveals an inspiring quest that continues to be vital in today’s political climate. We'll speak with Director Sophie Huber.
