Unfortunately, we can believe it. It was Trump who whipped up mobs of his supporters by longing for the days when protesters “were carried out on stretchers.” Just the other day, at a Trump rally in Texas, one of his warm-up speakers declared that liberals “are not our opponents, they are our enemy.”
During the whole assault, the police stood aside and did nothing!
This, too, is part of a sinister pattern. The LAPD has targeted, spied on, and wrongfully arrested members of RefuseFascism.org. And, as seen in his recent Minneapolis rally where a large contingent of “COPS FOR TRUMP” turned out, Trump has been consciously fostering and unleashing a growing section of law enforcement to act as part of enforcing his agenda.

This fascist assault and the complicity of the police proves how right we are to be standing up together to demand the removal now of the Trump/Pence Regime. These assaults are part of the rise of fascism – along with the concentration camps at the border, the war on women's reproductive rights, the shredding of environmental regulations and more – that we are setting out to STOP.
