This week:

Richard Falk on Gaza, Israel and the US

The past weeks have seen a new upsurge of resistance of the Palestinian people against the Israeli settler regime and its US backer. Thousands and thousands of people in Gaza have stood up, proclaiming their dignity and demanding their rights as human beings, refusing to live in the open-air prison they've been forced into, and continuing in the face of Israeli mass murder. They have protested the theft of their land by the Zionists in the Great March of Return. They have set sail in boats to break the decade-long siege of Gaza. A fierce new generation has come on the scene, lighting up the world by their heroic example.

We'll speak with international law expert Richard Falk, former United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967. Richard Falk is an international law and international relations scholar who taught at Princeton University for forty years, and UC Santa Barbara. Over the years, he has been fighting tirelessly for the rights and lives of the Palestinian people, and standing up to non-stop attacks from the Zionists, their allies and their backers in the US.

The Case of ISRAEL

The state of Israel is projected to the world as an outpost of democracy and tolerance in a sea of hostile, intolerant Islam bent on its destruction. To be considered a credible mainstream voice in U.S. politics, academia, or the media, one must present Israel as a front line of defense against Jihad, and a critical fortress defending "our way of life."
