Political Attack on Upcoming National Students for Justice in Palestine Conference at UCLA The National Students for Justice in Palestine Conference scheduled for November 16-18, 2018 in Los Angeles, California, has been attacked by the Los Angeles City Council, which passed a unanimous resolution calling on the University administration to cancel the conference, whose theme will be, "Radical Hope: Resistance in the Face of Adversity." This is one of a number of attacks on Palestinian rights organizations and the BDS -- Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions -- movement in the wake of the Anti-Semitic massacre of 11 people at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. Pro-Zionist groups have attempted to connect Anti-Zionism, or just criticizing Israel, with Anti-Semitism.
