$1000 Challenge to Support the National Revolution Tour

From the National Revolution Tour:

From a Mental Health Professional and Supporter of the Revolution...

Step Up to My $1000 Challenge to Support the National Revolution Tour

I will double your donation to the National Get Organized for an ACTUAL Revolution Tour, up to $1,000, received by May 4. The National Get Organized for an Actual Revolution Tour goal: to spread the word and bring people into the process of building for an actual revolution.
I have searched my heart and soul, and either I choose to accept to live in a world based on heinous brutality and crimes against humanity in the US and around the world, or I stand up and fight for revolution. It is through studying the scientific work of Bob Avakian, that I am convinced that the only way out of this hell, is through a revolution that digs up this system's rotten roots and brings into being a whole new system that is not built on exploitation, but on the needs of the people and the highest aspirations of humanity.
I weep when I hear about the children in cages at the border with Mexico. I am enraged when time and time again, the lives of Black and Brown people are stolen by murdering pigs with no repercussions; and how the youth in the ghettos are pitted against one another to kill for a spot on the corner that is not theirs anyway. I am horrified when I imagine what it is like to be a Palestinian, forced to live, and barely survive, in an open air prison in Gaza. I am shocked when we can see and feel the actual climate disruption causing death and destruction all over the planet and there are no viable plans to stop it. I stand with my sisters who have been sexually harassed, beaten and raped every minute in this patriarchy. I grieve with the LGBT community as they are targeted through actions of hate or die at alarming rates through suicide. I have come to understand through years of delving into the work of BA, that these things are the result of the workings of capitalism and imperialism.
This kind of world is intolerable to me and it should be to you! If you REALLY get into this revolution, you will learn that the world does NOT have to be this way.
If you contribute to support this tour, you can help make it possible for hundreds and thousands of people to have the opportunity to learn about what this revolution is all about, what difference it can make in the world, and how we can win.
I am inspired by what the revolutionaries on the tour are doing. I loved that Noche Diaz presented a fire extinguisher award to Al Sharpton as a symbol that he plays the role of “extinguishing the fire” of outrage and desire to stand up to the powers that be and pulling them back into the system that causes needless suffering in the first place.
It was powerful that a white male comrade was kicked out of a “safe space” because he read a poem written about sexual trauma against women. There are no safe spaces in the world we live in and the team came back standing firm against intersectionality with the message that this would not lead to emancipation. The revolutionaries are out front at the Bernie Sanders rallies going up against the Bullshit of the democrats and solutions that will lead nowhere.
This Tour urgently needs our contributions to stay on the road -- for travel costs; lodging; printing costs; supplies; food; reading materials and more. This revolution is the only hope for a world without borders; a world where people can live in dignity no matter their race or gender or whom they love; a world where the planet is protected; where there are no wars for empire; and a world in which life is worth living.
Join me in donating to make this possible. Do it now, before May 4 and double your impact with my dollar for dollar match!
With warm thanks,
A Mental Health Professional and Supporter of the Revolution

The Get Organized for an ACTUAL Revolution National Tour

To you who are fed up with this society and “solutions” that are no solution...

To you who are angry and defiant and want to see an end to the white supremacy, the patriarchy and its many forms of gender oppression, the persecution of immigrants, the imperialist wars and occupations and threats, and the capitalist plunder and destruction of the environment—an end to all, or any, of the horrible forms of oppression and exploitation that define and intertwine with this capitalist-imperialist society...

To you who seek not justice for yourself or even just your own people, but the Emancipation of ALL Humanity...
There Is a Way Out of This Madness!

“Let’s get down to basics:
We need a revolution. Anything else, in the final analysis, is bullshit.”

— Bob Avakian
This is what we are going to work on NOW. There is scientific approachthat makes clear this madness is unnecessary. There is an actual plan for a radically better society on the road to wiping out all exploitation and oppression and emancipating humanity. There is a strategy to get the millions needed to make that happen. There is the leadership, in Bob Avakian (BA), the architect of the new communism and the leader of the revolution. These are great strengths on the people’s side. But, what is now missing and urgently needed is YOU—to get with, support, and become an organized part of the revolution.

Right now, there is a project to put this revolution before millions and organize thousands into it. That project is the Get Organized for an ACTUAL Revolution National Tour. Be one of those thousands!

The Tour is currently in LA and will be going around the country for the rest of the year. Over the next 10 days, the Revolution Club is making a focus of spreading the Points of Attention for the Revolution (see below). Be part of the revolution: post them up on walls or social media, get into them yourself, talk with friends and let people know there is another way the world could be.
“We have two choices: either, live with all this—and condemn future generations to the same, or worse, if they have a future at all—or, make revolution!” —Bob Avakian

This week:

Author Jason Stanley, How Fascism Works, Trevor Timm, Freedom of the Press Foundation, the Arrest of Julian Assange and Trump's War on Press Freedom

Jason Stanley, author of How Fascism Works

In his book, How Fascism Works, Yale professor of philosophy Jason Stanley writes, "The dangers of fascist politics come from the particular way in which it dehumanizes segments of the population. By excluding these groups, it limits the capacity for empathy among other citizens, leading to the justification of inhumane treatment, from repression of freedom, mass imprisonment, and expulsion to, in extreme cases, mass extermination. Genocides and campaigns of ethnic cleansing are regularly preceded by the kinds of political tactics described in this book."

Trevor Timm, executive director of the Freedom of the Press Foundation.on the Indictment of Julian Assange

Trevor Timm recently wrote, "Assange's indictment is Trump's next step in his war on press freedom." Yet while virtually all the major press freedom and civil liberties organizations denounced the prosecution of Assange, much of the major media are going along with or even cheering the indictment and arrest of the Wikileaks founder. But this escalation of attacks on the press and reporters is part of a dangerous assault on civil liberties.

Trevor Timm lays out why the Assange indictment and Trump's whole war on the press must be opposed.

Support the National Get Organized for an Actual Revolution Tour - in LA now

Meet the
Get Organized for an ACTUAL Revolution Tour

We're writing to ask for your support for the National Get Organized for an ACTUAL Revolution Tour which has now been active in Los Angeles for a few weeks. And to thank all of you who have supported the tour by spreading the word, donating much needed funds and more.
We want to share some of the highlights from the Tour, return to the great need humanity faces... for revolution, and the difference we make by what we choose to do.
"We have two choices, either, live with all this—and condemn future generations to the same, or worse, if they have a future at all—or, make revolution!" —Bob Avakian, the leader of the revolution

These are the only 2 choices. Which one will you choose?

The Tour has been taking actual revolution to where things are the hottest:
Into South Central where Nipsey Hussle was murdered.

"People are hurting, deeply, over the senseless killing of Nipsey Hussle. They talk about the way he wanted something better for the people and then got senselessly gunned down.

But what killed Nipsey Hussle?"

Joe Veale, with the Revolution Club answers this question here: "To All Those Who Grieve for Nipsey Hussle… and Want a Better World"

The National Revolution Tour was at the funeral on Thursday. See "The Murder of Nipsey Hussle: Analysis… Experience… and the Need for Transformation." Go to revcom.us for updates and check @tuneintorevcom & @revclub_la on social media.

And to Sacramento where Stephon Clark was murdered in cold blood by the police, where the Tour posed a challenge to people there.
Ask yourself: Are we going to protest for days or weeks and then allow our anger to be corralled and swept into the killing confines of this system that shows us over and over again that you can’t vote this shit away or tweak some law that will somehow make pigs stop killing our youth? Will another 50 years go by until it’s our grandkids dying outside of our doorsteps and all we can do is cry while the murdering pigs who killed them stand over their bodies “getting their stories straight”? Fuck that!
“Let’s get down to basics: We need a revolution. Anything else, in the final analysis, is bullshit.
—Bob Avakian, leader of the revolution

April 17-28: Be Part of a Major Effort to Spread the Revolution

The National Tour for the Revolution calls on you to help spread the Points of Attention for the Revolution (POA) everywhere. We will join with others to take the POA all over and get it up everywhere from April 17 to 28. The Points of Attention lays out the principles, methods, and goals of the revolution. We'll get those out all over, along with other materials that let people know about the need for revolution, the strategy for it, and the leader of it, Bob Avakian (BA). Read more

Now that you have caught up with some of the highlights from the Tour, think again about the only choices that humanity faces: living with all the horrors concentrated in the five stops—or making revolution.
If you sense that none of the horrors of today will be solved by the dog-eat-dog capitalist-imperialist system and that something radical—a real revolution—is needed...even as you have a thousand questions as to what that revolution would look like and whether it is even possible.
Here are some important ways that everyone can begin to take up this challenge, but we encourage you to think about this and share with us your thoughts and ideas.
1. Watch and show the film by Bob Avakian Why We Need An Actual Revolution And How We Can Really Make Revolution.
2. Make/pick up copies of the Call for the Tour & the Points of Attention for the Revolution and post them up in your neighborhood. Take a picture and post it and share with @tuneintorevcom and @revclub-la.
4. Come to a film screening of Why We Need an Actual Revolution and How to Really Make Revolution, every Saturday, 3 pm, at the Organizing Center, 2716 S Vermont Ave #8 (upstairs).
5. Meet the National Revolution Tour Picnic and Potluck, Sundays, 12 pm - 3 pm, Hoover Recreation Park at Hoover and Adams.
6. Join the Revolution Running Club every Sunday, 10:45 am, Hoover Recreation Park at Hoover and Adams.
7. Join the Revolution Club Discussions on Thursdays, 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm, at the Organizing Center, 2716 S Vermont Ave #8 (upstairs).
8. Bring your ideas, thoughts, mass fundraising plans and more to the Revolution Club Organizing Center. Follow @tuneintorevcom and @revclub_la and for regular updates: revcom.us.

Revolution Tour Fundraising in One Area: $10,000 in a Month…and That’s Just a Start
Without hype, absent fundamental change, without revolution, the future of humanity and the planet hangs in the balance. This tour cannot be sustained without your contribution.

People pour money into all kinds of things that keep the world as it is...supporting Democratic Party candidates (war criminals) thinking they are the best answer to Trump, making well-intended contributions to anti-poverty charities that alleviate suffering for a small handful. Let's take inspiration from the volunteers who are on fire for revolution, taking it to the people, disturbing the complacency.
You CAN make a profound difference. Donate if you haven't yet; become a sustainer if you have donated once. Put this tour before your friends and colleagues: place a jar on your desk at work and challenge people to put something inside.
