Dear listeners, readers and friends:

Since 2002, The Michael Slate Show has introduced you to many unique voices in the arts, science, music and movements of resistance. Most importantly, it has introduced to you the most radical and revolutionary ideas and people on this planet right now -- from the world historic Breakthroughs of the new communism by revolutionary leader Bob Avakian to the Get Ready for an Actual Revolution Tour. 

I write you now to invite you to spend an afternoon sharing good food, good company and good conversation with me and members of the LA Revolution Club and the National Tour to Get Organized for an Actual Revolution (GOFAR). Members of the Revolution Club will be on hand to talk about why the world of today must not and need not remain the rolling nightmare that it is, and how this Tour could change everything.   A better world IS possible. 

These are indeed dangerous times under a fascist Trump/Pence regime.  But there is the potential to break free of this horror so let’s come together and talk about that. 

We live in world where there are indeed only 2 choices “either, live with all this—and condemn future generations to the same, or worse, if they have a future at all—or, make revolution!” (Bob Avakian)
