Friday, June 24—When the Supreme Court Decision overturning the right to abortion was announced at 10 a.m., protesters from Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights were already outside the Supreme Court in Washington, DC. They denounced the decision as completely illegitimate—and called on the masses of people to get into the streets immediately to demand “The Federal Government Must Restore Nationwide Legal Abortion Now.” As the news of the decision spread, the Rise Up protesters were joined by hundreds of others, jolted and fiercely outraged at the decision by the fascist majority on the Court.
